Introduction to Handguns

This 2-hour class can be taken before or after your LTC class and is held on Thursday nights at 6 PM. The class size is limited to 6 people due to Covid19. In the classroom we cover gun safety and the fundamentals of shooting a handgun. The handgun does not mean you are protected! Your skill under stress determines how well that handgun can help you to not be a victim. After the classroom portion is complete, you will go on the range and work on skills to operate the handgun and on how the handgun operates. Shooting drills are designed to get repetition on everything a handgun does and to learn the importance of site alignment and site picture, as well as the cover the foundation of all shooting etiquette, such as the proper grip! The instructor works one on one with you on the gun range. This class will be a very solid investment in yourself to increase your knowledge and safety with a handgun. The cost of the Introduction to Handguns class is $100 which includes the range fee.

Introduction To Shotguns

Introduction to Shotgun: The shotgun is the best home defense weapon available. Operating a defensive shotgun takes skills. This Introduction to Shotguns firearms training class will teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a shotgun safely. In addition, this class has been designed as a one-on-one with the instructor. We focus on the fundamental use of a shotgun and apply skills in live fire. The cost of class is $100 and does not include the range fee, eye/ear protection or ammunition. Range fee is $20, eyes and ears are $5(cash only). Shotgun rental includes the shotgun, shotgun shells, and eye and ear protection for $70.

3. Fundamentals of shotgun shooting
4. Actual Range Shooting

The first part of the class is spent in the classroom discussing the different types of shotguns and how to handle them safely, ammunition, and the fundamentals of shotgun shooting. The second part is spent on the range, doing actual shooting. The basics of stance, targeting, and trigger control are emphasized.

Class size is limited to 3 people. Classes are held on Wednesday nights at 6 PM and are 2 hours.

Required Equipment: 25 rounds of 00 buckshot, 9 pellet
